More powerful than Facebook Connect; enter Gigya Socialize

gigya_logoWhile we were searching for a way to integrate Open ID or Facebook Connect to this blog, I stumbled across Gigya Socialize. Gigya created a brief video that explains what this service does, but in short — if you know what Facebook Connect is and/or does, then imagine a service that is higher than that.

It not only allows your users to authenticate with your site with their existing Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, etc. accounts, but it allows them to interact with their social network right through (and giving credit to) your own site in real time.

We’ll be working to add this to businesstechnologyanalyst.com over the next week or so and keep you posted. ┬áIn the meantime, here is the aforementioned video:
